Golden Boho, Golden, Colorado

This older home gets a fresh modern update with a bohemian flair.  Situated just north of downtown Golden, the home is updated with a complete overhaul and redesign of the kitchen and bathrooms, along with all new furnishings with the purpose of renting it out as a chic vacation rental.  The kitchen, equipped with walnut flat panel cabinets and white quartz countertops, has a small footprint, so we added a rolling island that can be stored off to the side when not in use.  An adjacent space became a breakfast nook, which can couple as a work area.  We kept the existing stone on the wood burning fireplace, but went white for all walls and ceilings.  A white steel and cable stair railing system was added for unobstructed views and to open up the small space. The furnishing are from a variety of vendors, including, Crate and Barrel, West Elm, CB2, Article and, of course, World Market to get that desired artistic and free-spirited feel. The space is finished off with a collection of artwork and accessories found on Etsy and made by local artists.
